Claudia is the founder and clinical director of Higgins Counseling Services LLC for the past decade. Claudia is also a dedicated Christian therapist with extensive experience supporting clients from diverse populations, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. She is committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
With a holistic approach to therapy, Claudia integrates faith-based principles and evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth. She emphasizes empathy and active listening, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges and work toward meaningful solutions. Her goal is to empower clients to achieve emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being.

Tawanna Pollock, Psychotherapist

Tawanna is a dedicated school-based mental health professional. She has a passion for working with pre-teens, families, and communities, striving to raise awareness about mental health stigma and advocate for systemic changes. Tawanna’s mission is to create safe and healing environments where families and communities can thrive emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Tawanna is trained in several evidence-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Tawanna earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree, graduating Cum Laude, from Florida A&M University in 2005, and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California in 2019. Tawanna is currently a registered social work intern in the state of Florida, continuing her commitment to professional growth and impactful care.

Althea Walters, Psychotherapist

Althea is passionate about supporting individuals navigating challenges such as addiction, poor coping skills, codependency, low self-esteem, anxiety, grief, and depression. She takes an interactive, hands-on approach, helping clients develop healthy coping strategies to manage stressors, triggers, and cravings effectively.
Althea also focuses on enhancing relationships by teaching clients how to set boundaries and cultivate independence. She incorporates traditional talk therapy within a person-centered framework, addressing addiction and its related challenges. Her holistic approach includes exploring underlying factors contributing to maladaptive patterns and addressing co-occurring mental health issues, empowering clients to achieve lasting success.

Marcia Waysome, Administrative Assistant
Marcia Waysome is a Virtual Administrative Assistant with over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. She specializes in assisting with client scheduling and insurance verification, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for those she supports. Marcia is passionate about helping others prioritize their health and well-being as essential aspects of life.
Marcia was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Marcia enjoys traveling, gardening, and cherishing quality time with her family.
