About Therapist:

Claudia specializes in children and families and has a decade of experience working in the child welfare system, mental health field and educational settings.  Her unique, Christ-centered, therapeutic approach skillfully weaves together biblical principles with a vast array of clinically-based interventions that address her clients’ spiritual, emotional, and cognitive needs.

She works with children, adolescents and adults seeking counseling to overcome depression, anxiety, trauma and domestic violence among other challenges. When working with children, Claudia infuses the counseling process with assorted Play/Art Therapy techniques designed to engage young people on their level in a creative, non-threatening environment.

Claudia’s overarching mission as a counselor is to help her clients realize an improved quality of life. She believes that no matter what challenges her clients may face, the road to renewal and restoration can always be traveled, and she is eager to partner with them along the way.

Training and Education:

Claudia is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor. I also am Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator. I ams also a member of National Association of Social Work (NASW) and was recognized as part of Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor since 2005. Claudia received her MSW in 2011 from Florida Atlantic University, specializing in Children & Families.
